Meet Andrew

Hi there! My name is Andrew Westenbroek and I can’t wait to start gardening together. Whether you are an experienced gardener just looking for a new setting to plant in, or you have never grown a thing in your life, I’m excited to join you in your kitchen garden journey!

I’m a lifelong resident of western Washington who is passionate about sustainable living, environmental stewardship and restoration, growing community through local food, and sharing the wonders of gardening. I love finding quiet moments in the garden to observe its beautiful chaos and relationships.

I graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Energy Science & Technology and work as a sustainability professional, environmental steward, and urban farmer when I’m not in the garden.
