Why Book a 1 on 1 Consultation?

During your 1 hour consultation, we will :

• Walk your property to find the best place(s) to grow your kitchen garden based on the available resources, and discuss your kitchen garden vision.

• Discuss what types of food you want to grow in your kitchen garden and how to make each one a success.

• Cover what makes good soil to help ensure you grow herbs, veggies, and fruit larger than you can believe! Your kitchen garden is living, it needs food and nutrients just like us.

• Cover what materials and tools you will need to set up and maintain your Kitchen Garden

• Make a kitchen garden planting and harvesting plan so you know exactly when to sow your garden and reap its rewards!

Why Book a Kitchen Garden Design?

A design is the most important part of any Kitchen Garden! Your design will be tailored to your property to account for:

• Sun requirements - different foods need different amounts of sun. A design will tailor your garden to what you want to grow.

• Water access - an essential to growing anything, having easy water access is important for your plants and your time

• Flow and accessibility - nothing is more annoying than feeling like your garden doesn’t flow and that things are in the wrong place. Working with existing permanent features on your property (doors leading outside, patio/deck, fences, gates, trees/hedges, sheds, etc.), I design your Kitchen Garden to make it feel natural and like it was always there.
